Closer look: Fantastic Four(2015) - A huge mess

For me, this movie was a really big dissapointment, I really like the Fantastic Four comics and I had really high expectations for this reboot but in the end it all faded away.
I am going to do a really closer look of the movie, so, (Spoiler alert):

Josh Trank :
I feel sorry for Josh, a young director that had already shown his brilliance (If you haven´t, you should watch his first and genius movie, Chronicle) doesn´t deserve to be irremediably tortured and almost destroyed after falling in a world that he was not ready for.

I really believe that Trank tried to pull out a great movie, I even believe that he wanted to produce the best super-heroes movie of all time, you could see it in his speech while being interviewed, but It became an obessesion and the movie didn`t came out as planned.

Cast and acting:
The cast was really good, all of the actors involved already showed in previous movies that they were good. But the acting in this case, in general, was bad but I think that it wasn´t their fault because it is knowned that Josh Trank even told the cast when to breath and blink! With a bad script, the actors couldn´t have done much better.

So, as you may have noticed by now, I kinda liked the casting choices because I like to see young actors being the protagonists in super-heroes movies. I think that in someway we can relate easier with the movie. I liked "The Thing" (I know that he isn´t wearing shorts), Reed, Susan and I sincerely don´t see what is the BIG problem of casting a black-person as the Human Torch, the actor is good so why can you hate a character so much because the colour of its skin isn´t the same in the comics? It didn´t work because his script was bad. Change is good ok? Ok.

I must also say that Dr.Allen makes me so pissed, in a second, he started to chew gum like freaking Britney Spears...He was even chewing gum while in meeting in the petagon. I can I take this kind of scenes seriously?

Origins story:
Their travel to an alternative dimension is something possible and a good feautre in the movie but...how can a 11 year old kid can teleport an object to another dimension in his garage? Even if he was a genius, he would need materials to make it possible like a super computer not a Nintendo 64 controller. I still wanted to watch more of the "little Reed".

How they gain their powers in this movie is much better than before the reboot where a radiation cloud strikes all of the members at the same time giving each one a different super power.

The new Dr.Doom and his origin story isn´t awful, and the actor is very good but they still managed to make a bad Dr.Doom. Dont know how he survided in that dimension without food and even assuming that because of the accident he no longer need to eat, his reasons to be "bad" are just so rushed. And also...how did he got that cape?

Conclusion:
The movie had (almost) everything to succeed, good actors and a good producer but the movie came out to be rushed, with clichés, without an objective and badly develloped because it didn´t have funny moments nor those familiar moments that are usually found in the comics and even the 2005 and 2007 movies had, it failed to be a science fiction movie, it failed to build a love-connection between Susan and Richard and It didn´t even have funny moments between "the thing" and the "human torch". It made you watch the movie in serious, boring way where the action scenes were just mediocre.

Fantastic Four(2015) ends up being a movie that could have been good, with good marketing, making the trailer the most watched video in the 21st Century Fox Youtube channel, with a good poster and really interesting explanations by Michio Kaku, but it ended up being a short, uninteresting and rushed film. An excuse from Fox to keep the rights away from Marvel.

An unaceptable movie even for the times of "Daredevil" or Elektra, it couldn´t be good for us that now have an amazing Marvel Studios.
